Guided tour program

Our guided tour last at least 90 minutes; although it can be shortened, if necessary, to 60 minutes, but we recommend the full 90 minute tour.
Our tour starts with a brief introduction and a wide display of some of the most interesting archaeological pieces at the Federico Wattenberg Center for Vaccean Studies. The Center is located right on the town´s main square in Padilla de Duero. Our next stop is Las Ruedas, where the group will take a tour of the important necropolis.
In June, July and August our tours usually coincide with archaeological fieldwork and you will be able to witness first-hand excavation methodology and understand Spanish history and it´s rich heritage. The visit to the areas around the wall and the archaeological pits of the city of Pintia are not included, although access to the same are free.
The visits will usually be in Spanish.

•Free entrance for children under 12.
•In June, July and August tours will coincide with the archaeological work on site:
-individual or small group visits, indistinctly, without consultation, from Wednesday to Sunday, at 10:30h, 12:30h, 17:30h and 19:30h; on Sundays there are no afternoon visits;
-visits for groups of more than 20 people: on-demand visits, so please make the appointment beforehand.
•The tour begins at Federico Wattenberg Center for Vaccean Studies.
•The rest of the year visits are made on-demand, In groups of at least 10 people, so it must be arranged in advance by request in the email firstname.lastname@example.org.
