After almost a year of hard work, last May 10 we finally released the new facilities of the Doceo Program. Located at the entrance to Las Ruedas route (between the information sign, Tintinárbula and the rest area benches), there are six 3 x 3 meter trial pits that contain various reproductions of Vaccean tombs so that schoolchildren can enjoy them as authentic Indianas in their discovery of Archeology.
The space is completed with one meter wide corridors in all perimeters and it will conclude with the installation of a pergola in the upcoming months, also in wood, which will be covered with various plant species that will provide coverage and shadow to the space. In this way, the installation of the Doceo Program in the city of Las Quintanas, too far away from the area where all the activities for schoolchildren and families take place, passes on the baton to this new space that is already in evidence, when receiving the first schools of the season. The first of them, the C.R.A. La Villa de Peñafiel, was in charge of opening this new stage we addressed in the dissemination of the people and Vaccean culture.
To complete the renovation of the area, the Tintinárbula has been erected again, lying down after a storm last year, and soon the tables and seats of the rest area will be replaced. All a bet of the CEVFW for the enjoyment of heritage and nature.
Then we show you some pictures of the transformation process carried out during the last months.
And other ones of the first schoolchildren who have already gone through the new installation: the C.R.A. La Villa and the I.E.S. Conde Lucanor, both from Peñafiel.
