Excavate in Pintia:
complete your academic background and live the adventure of History

According to the extraordinary decisions made by the University of Valladolid regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), this program has been cancelled during this year.

An unforgettable experience learning Archeology

The Pintia Project finances itself through several programs, such as the Volunteer Program, the support of the Asociación Cultural Pintia, the publication of Vaccea Anuario, guided tours, our Online Shop, Doceo Program (Archaeology for children), and most importantly, the excavation initiatives.

Fieldwork at Pintia takes place primarily in the summer, so not to overlap with the academic year at Spanish and international universities. Working at Pintia is open to all who want to participate and who comply with the requirements, modalities and prices for each program.
